La Platine Verdier

Reference-Class Audiophile Turntable

High-end turntable

The design emphasises analog precision and high-fidelity audio reproduction without relying on modern digital technology.

Magnetic levitation bearing

The platter is supported by opposing permanent magnets on a vertical shaft, greatly reducing mechanical contact and friction for extremely smooth rotation.

Heavy, decoupled platter

A very solid, non-magnetic platter (often around 16 kg or more) further stabilises speed and reduces resonance.

Mechanical decoupling

The spindle and platter are mechanically isolated to reduce disturbance transfer.

Pneumatic/isolated support

The plinth is isolated from the support surface (pneumatic decoupling) to minimise external vibration influence.

External motor with isolated mounting

The motor unit is completely separate from the turntable body to prevent motor vibration from entering the system.

Adjustable speed control

Fine adjustment is available for both 33 ⅓ RPM and 45 RPM playback rates.
